Wow! Here at Liftshare HQ we simply cannot believe that we are already halfway through August- which means that those of you heading off to Reading and Leeds Festival this Bank Holiday weekend are counting down the last few days to seeing Muse, Kasabian, Bastille, Eminem and more grace the stage!

Now we all know that the best way to experience a festival is by sharing it with friends; and that goes for the journey there, too. We also know that many a friendship over time has been tested over finding somewhere to park…

…which is why we’ve teamed up with Reading and Leeds Fest to provide 100 of you lovely lift-sharers a priority parking spot at both festival sites, so you can park up closer to the action, get on site and set up, and start enjoying the music, hassle-free!

Not only that, we have a pair of tickets to both Reading and Leeds to give away to sharers*. Does that all sound like a dream come true…? We thought so. Read on to find out what you need to do to qualify:

To Win a Pair of Free Tickets to Leeds or Reading Festival

To qualify you need to visit the unique Liftshare page for the festival site you want to win tickets for, which are as follows:

Leeds: leeds.liftshare.com

Reading: reading.liftshare.com

Next, add your journey details and register. Make sure you register with a valid, up-to-date email address, and add a telephone contact number, as we will use this to contact the competition winners!

We will randomly select a winning member by the end of the day on Friday 18th August.

To Get Priority Parking

To qualify for a priority parking spot at either site, you need to visit the unique Liftshare page for the festival site you are travelling to, so either:

Leeds: leeds.liftshare.com

Reading: reading.liftshare.com

Next, add your journey details and register.

Then, you need to find someone to share your journey with, and confirm through the system that you are sharing with them.

When you have done this, a tab should appear in the menu bar saying ‘Liftshare Teams’. When you click on this, if you are one of the first 100 people to confirm that you are car sharing, you should see a button which enables you to download your priority parking permit.

Important note: You will need to download and print this straight away as the permit function on the website will be switched off when 100 have been generated and you will no longer be able to access it.

Full instructions for registering, adding your journey and confirming your Liftshare are downloadable here

The arrival instructions for the priority parking at each site are as follows:

Enter the site via Brown Gate and follow internal signage to the car park. There should be AA signs with ‘Liftshare Priority Car Park’ on the road to help direct you, and our lovely Liftshare Volunteers will be there to help greet you when you arrive.
