Blues, Rhythm and Rock Festivals 2 announces stellar line-up

Following on from our coverage of the superb Norwich and Doncaster Blues, Rhythm and Rock Festivals, taking place on 28 February and 1 March, organiser Solid Entertainments has just announced three more fests each boasting a brand-new line up of top acts.

The festivals are as follows:

Each of the three festivals is founded on blues, with influences drawn in from other genres to create a broad mix of styles that fans of all three disciplines will love.

Emerging from the UK’s vibrant Blues-Rock scene, the ever popular Chantel McGregor is headlining the Yeovil and St. Ives festivals.  After 3 years of constant touring and festival appearances that followed the launch of her independent record label and release of her debut album “Like No Other”, Chantel has been very busy in the recording studio.  The new recordings are drawing comparisons with contemporary chart Rock artists and there is much excited anticipation for the forthcoming release……….so the audience at Yeovil and St Ives are in for a real treat!

The Yeovil and St. Ives festival line-up also includes five other top acts Aynsley Lister, singer-songwriter Larry Miller, “National Blues Treasure” Danny Bryant, young talent Laurence Jones and the incredibly talented Matt Woosey.

Headlining the Lincoln festival is the inspirational WILKO JOHNSON, a painter, an astronomer and an actor, but Wilko also happens to be one of the great British rock guitarists, acknowledged by his peers as among the most influential!

In April 2014 doctors discovered that Wilko’s pancreatic cancer was a rare, much less aggressive, form and carried out a pioneering 10 hour operation that may have saved his life.  After Wilko’s remarkable journey over the past two years and recovery from a life-changing operation, his army of fans across the globe, will be enthralled to hear the news that the band are getting back on stage in 2015.

The Lincoln Festival line-up also includes the Florida native Dana Fuchs, Danny Bryant, Matt Woosey, the great song-writing power of the Mark Pontin Group and self-proclaimed ‘blues-grass’ talent Big Joe Bone.

Advanced tickets for each of the three festivals can be purchase for £24 now (Lincoln show £25). Simply head to each of the sites above to buy online or call each of their hotlines to secure your ticket today.
