Download Festival 2016 tickets have gone on sale this morning over at the official festival site, along with the fest’s ingenious deposit scheme system, following the announcement of its three major headliners – Rammstein, Black Sabbath and Iron Maiden.

There are several ticket options available, depending on how much you’re looking to spend, and for how long you want to be at Download Festival:

  • 5 Nights Camping
  • 3 Nights Camping
  • Weekend Arena Only
  • Day Tickets Arena Only
  • VIP Tickets

So pick your poison, head over to the Download Festival site and get in quick before all the tickets vanish. If you’re feeling too skint to buy a ticket, you’ll find all of the Download deposit scheme information here.

How does the Download Festival ticket deposit scheme work?

According to the official site, Download’s deposit scheme starts with a one-off payment plus transaction delivery fee and service charge. From there, you pay a set amount each month until you’re paid up.

For example, in the case of 5 day camping tickets, the deposit scheme looks a little something like this:

It’s not bad if you’re currently a bit strapped for cash, or worried about making it to pay day.
