Liftshare Festival Fringe Award spotlight: Poet Jonny Fluffypunk

The 2015 Edinburgh Festival Fringe is well underway, and acts of all types from across the festival are entering to win the first Annual Liftshare Festival Fringe Award. This entails them using their talents – whether it be comedy, dance, acting, or poetry – to help promote sustainable travel and keeping the Scottish capital ‘green’ throughout the month. You can read more about the Award by clicking here, and check out our video entries so far on our YouTube playlist.

Our newest entry comes from Jonny Fluffypunk, the sustainable nihilist and poet who’s set to take Ed Fringe by storm from 17th-21st with his show ‘Man Up’, at the Electric Circus. It’s a free show, and you can get tickets online.

Check out Jonny’s video below!

Jonny speaks on living in Brighton (home to the first Green Party MP in the UK!), entering eco-hell, and then reads a poem he’s authored on the intimacy of bicycles within the environment around them. As he asks; what’s a little bit of rust between friends?
