Wychwood Festival 2015 kicks off at Cheltenham Racecourse on May 29-31, and it’s going to be a megaton year! The festival is now recommending Liftshare as a replacement travel option as a way of helping revellers save money on petrol, get a lift if they haven’t got a car, and to reduce carbon on the way to the event.
We’ll have more articles on Wychwood Festival 2015 soon, but we thought we’d open with a quick introduction to the event, and what makes it an unmissable entry to the 2015 festival calendar.
Wychwood’s 2015 line-up announcements have already begun, although there are many more announcements yet to be made. UB40, The Proclaimers, Dreadzone, Dick and Dom, Craig Charles and Ghostpoet have already been confirmed on the bill, following 2014’s main acts The Stranglers, The Levellers and the Boomtown Rats.
We’ll have more on the festival’s new act announcements as they come. With over 100 bands playing this year, we’re expecting big things from this one indeed. The festival also includes comedy stages, folk sessions, silent headphone discos and activites for kids. In fact, Wychwood prides itself on being rock and roll enough for hardened festival-goers, but family friendly too.
With a kid’s literature festival, and plenty of fun activities for families, there is much to see and do at Wychwood in 2015. Don’t forget, you can download Liftshare’s iOS and Android apps to help you find cheaper, greener and social travel to the festival – we’re far cheaper than train, taxi and coach too!
Stay tuned for more on this great festival soon!
