James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke is one of the longest running and most successful skits on The Late Late Show; inspiring sharers everywhere to sing on their trips, and racking up over 830 million YouTube views! The series has seen Elton John, Stevie Wonder, Justin Bieber, and even the First Lady of the United States hop in a car with Gavin and Stacey star Corden.

But it’s not just celebs getting in on the action! In an interview with The Wrap, James admitted that he’d been tackled into a car by some over-zealous fans in London recently: “I was crossing the street in London a few weeks ago and there were these four kids. They were like 18, 19. They sort of forced me to get in the car. They all had their camera phones out and we were just singing along to the radio. I was like, ‘Am I being kidnapped?'”.

Well, can you blame them? We’d be tempted to do the same. Footage from the fans’ camera phones has yet to be released, but watch this space for as and when it does – as we’re sure it’ll make for a great watch!

The next Carpool Karaoke segment is set to feature Britney Spears, and despite rumours, it seems Kanye West’s video filming has been cancelled; so it could be a while before we see the Yeezus star singing along in a 4×4.
