Liftshare Festival Fringe Award spotlight: Comedian Maxine Jones

It’s the last week of our Liftshare Festival Fringe Award, but we still have some great entries from comedians and performers to share with you.

If you’ve only just encountered our award, it’s essentially a new accolade we’ve opened up to acts at this year’s Edinburgh Festival Fringe, which invites them to send us a video of themselves sharing their green views, encouraging their fans to be mindful of the environment and of course – say something funny.

We want to help make people laugh while thinking about green matters, and one of the award entrants helping us do that is comedian Maxine Jones, who is performing her show Full Circle at the Edinburgh Fringe until August 29th. You can catch it at Cabaret Voltaire (times vary by day so check the Fringe site!)

Maxine has entered our award with a video, where she talks about her green views, recycling and a little bit about her show. Have a look and see what you think.
