Season’s Greetings from the Liftshare team!

Another year has flown by in the Liftshare office, and what a fantastic year we’ve had! The team at Liftshare have launched 37 new communities since April 2017 and run 114 events this year, and through your help, we’ve seen over a quarter of a million people join our communities. This means, that not only are there more chances to find a match than ever, but as a community, we’re forecasted to save over £20.1 million, 202.1 million miles, and reduce carbon emissions by 40,000 tonnes – phenomenal!

This year, we have decided to make our own Christmas card (this won’t disappoint, promise) and donate the money we would have spent (£700!) to Save the Children.

We will be holding our very own Save the Children Christmas Jumper day in the office on Friday 15^th December (evidence will be available on our social media channels, the more embarrassingly festive the better) and we’d love you to support us! To help us raise money for Save the Children this Christmas, please text TEAML1FT5 to 70050 to donate £5 – we’ll be making donations on the day too.

The festive season is, of course, a wonderful time to share – a mince pie, a Christmas cracker, a joke (What’s yellow and dangerous? Shark-infested custard – sorry), so why not share your journey to see friends and family?
