Tramlines festival 2015: Wu-Tang Clan, Basement Jaxx & more added to line-up

We’ve just got word that Sheffield’s brilliant Tramlines festival has added rap legends the Wu-Tang Clan, indie rockers The Charlatans and dance troupe Basement Jaxx as headliners. It’s all going down July 24-26.

They’re followed by Mike Skinner, Jimmy Edgar and RnB duo Ekkah, along with another appearance by mathcore outfit Rolo Tomassi.

Tramlines festival director Sarah Nulty said of the announcement: “We knew we had to pull out something special to follow the likes of Public Enemy and Sister Sledge last year, and we think we’ve done it with 2015’s headliners. We’re really excited to welcome some true legends to the Tramlines stages. As ever, there’s a ton of great breaking talent on this year’s bill too, and we can’t wait for people to tell us about discovering their new favourite band.”

Weekend tickets are available for £30, which we’re sure you will agree is great value. Be sure to follow the festival on Twitter @tramlines for more updates.
