Happy Monday Liftsharers!
Autumn is upon us, the leaves are turning brown and cold weather is slowly returning to the UK. It’s always a shame to see the summer disappear, but fear not, because we’ve got a brand new feature on the Liftshare blog for you to enjoy.
This is the first edition of ‘Your Week in Liftsharing’ – a weekly guide to the hottest events happening up and down the country that you simply can’t afford to miss. These updates will appear every Monday to help you plan journeys using Liftshare, request lifts from drivers and come together in the name of your interests – be it gigging, film showings, expos, sporting fixtures and more.

Back again for 2014, the London Literature Festival lands at the Southbank Centre from Tuesday September 30, kicking off almost a month of book events, appearances, lectures and more. Immerse yourself in Brazilian literature, music, art and dance at this year’s Flipside Festival in Suffolk. The British Heart Foundation is holding a running event at Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire, and participants are invited to tackle either the half marathon or 10k run to help raise money for charity. Kids and families are also eligible for a fun run to help do their bit. The course promises 13.1 miles of hard work, but for a truly noble cause.
