New ISO sustainability standard launches

If you too are looking to become ISO accredited in any area of environmental management or sustainability, contact our Business Team today to discuss how we can help.

The International Organisation for Standardisation has launched a new sustainability standard this week – ISO 20400 for Sustainable Procurement.

Replacing the BS 8903:2010 Principles and Framework for Procuring Sustainably, the new ISO standard is a must-have for any company serious about corporate social responsibility. It is applicable to any organisation and relevant for sustainability managers, supply chain managers, environment/waste managers, facilities managers, senior procurement and purchasing professionals, commercial directors and finance directors.

Whilst considering the new standard and how your business’ sustainability and CSR policies may fit into this, it may be time to consider implementing Liftshare in your organisation.

ISO 14001 is an over-arching Environmental Management standard, and is one that Liftshare can help you achieve. Through our suite of sustainable travel and personalised travel planning solutions, we’ve worked with household names to help them achieve accreditation.

Old Mutual Wealth use Liftshare’s monitoring dashboard to  report on carbon savings, to help them feed into quantitative reporting to meet the accreditation standards. Seagate International too use the reporting capabilities to map out the carbon and miles saved for ongoing analysis used for ISO 14001.
