Your week in Liftsharing – Oct 13 edition

Happy Monday Liftsharers!

It’s the start of a new week and we’re sure that wherever you are in the UK, you’re already starting to notice the nights drawing in earlier and the weather taking a turn for the worse. Despite the naff weather, we hope all you lift-sharing lovelies out there are staying warm during your commute and keeping each other company when stuck in traffic.

We also have a little reminder about the fourth annual International Ridesharing Day, which takes place October 26. We urge you to check it out and let the world know about the joys of sharing by posting about your travels on Twitter and Facebook

Now then, let’s kick off this week with another look at the big events happening up and down the UK, and how you can get to them cheaply by using Liftshare.

Monday: The Art of the Brick

October 13, Old Truman Brewery, London (ongoing)
Get tickets via the exhibition homepage

This is an art exhibition with a difference, because you won’t find oil paintings, tapestries or painted ceramics here, but over 70 sculptures created entirely out of Lego bricks. Assembled using more than a million pieces, the works were hand-crafted by US artist Nathan Sawaya, and include an 80,000-part T-Rex model that stands at over six metres in length, along with a detailed adaptation of Da Vinci’s Mona Lisa.
