Liftshare Festival Fringe Award spotlight: Comedian Roland Gent

We’re just a day away from the close date of our first Liftshare Festival Fringe Award, and we’ve got another entry spotlight for you to check out.

The aim of this award was to invite comedians and performers at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe to send in videos of themselves talking about their green views, what they do to reduce their footprint, and to encourage the festival-going public to think about their own impact while having a laugh at some great comedy. We’ve had a great string of entries so far!

Today’s entry comes from comedian Roland Gent, whose free Fringe show Rock ‘N’ Roll Radio Idiot is on today until August 22nd at George Next Door (Venue #430). You can book ahead here.

Roland has entered our award with a great clip about where he stays while in Edinburgh, his thoughts on the local power station, and wind turbines – to name a few topics!

Have gander and see what you think:

The first Liftshare Festival Fringe Award closes on August 21st, and we’ll have a winner announcement from our top judging panel shortly after. Stay tuned for the results!
