Blog post updated 20.03.18
You may have seen an influx of emails recently from your service providers, letting you know what you’ve signed up for and what you’ve opted into regarding their service. This is because, as of 25th May 2018, businesses in the UK must be compliant with the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) to keep you in control of your personal data.
As a platform in which you entrust your valuable data, we want to let you know that we have always taken your data seriously and continually evolve our processes to protect your interests. Here is a summary of our progress on actions to be fully GDPR compliant when the law takes effect:
Action | Stage |
Data Breaches Procedures | Compliant |
Procedures for Subject Access Requests | Compliant |
GDPR Audit | Compliant |
Procedures for Individual Rights | Compliant |
Identifying and Documenting Lawful Basis for Processing Personal Data | Compliant |
Communicating Privacy Information | Updated – awaiting release |
Reviewing and Refreshing Existing Consents | Actively updating |
Cyber Essentials | Accredited |
Privacy Impact Assessment | Completed |
We are pleased to announce that Liftshare is Cyber Essentials Certified. You can read more about our accreditation here.
We’ll keep this blog up-to-date as and when we complete actions, so please check back here to be in the know.
