Lack of parking spaces is a long-running issue

Liftshare saves JAGUAR LAND ROVER in excess of £1MILLION annually

To embed its commitment to sustainability and act as a responsible neighbour, Jaguar Land Rover has introduced a car-sharing scheme through Liftshare as part of their Green Travel Plan. The scheme was put in place to reduce traffic on local roads, ease the demand for parking on-site and to save the business and its employee’s considerable money.

Exeter University issues free parking permits to employees car-sharing

University of Exeter is one of the largest employers in the city employing approx. 2200 employees. Due to the location of the university and the geography of the local area, a large number of employees commute to work alone increasing the demand for car parking spaces on site. (more…)
