Hello Liftsharers and welcome to another Friday full of song and cheer. It’s almost the weekend, and for many of us that means either kicking back for a chilled one or cutting loose with friends.

Either way, we’ve compiled another great driving playlist to fuel your weekend, complete with the cream of new chart hits, alogn with some tried classics.

This week we’ve got Cheryl’s new release ‘I Don’t Care,’ – which we only assume is a reference to the record label dropping her surname from the title. We’ve also got the unstoppable Calvin Harris and his latest team-up with Ellie Goulding in the form of ‘Outside,’ while ‘Imperium’ by Madeon is perfect for those who loved the dirty synth and beats of the Drive soundtrack.

Elsewhere, there’s the chocolate-voiced tones of Maroon 5’s ‘Animals,’ the steamy fierceness of Jessie J’s ‘Burnin Up,’ and a hark back to the old school with Heart’s ‘Barracuda,’ and ‘Rocks’ from Primal Scream.

An ecclectic mix we’re sure you’ll agree, and another great soundtrack for your weekend. Be sure to tweet us your requests for next week using #liftsharetunes and we’ll add them to our playlist next Friday.

You can also subscribe to our playlist on Spotify here. Make sure you do for all the new tunes as they appear.
