Liftshare Festival Fringe Award spotlight: Comedian Daphna Baram

Last week, you no doubt will have seen that Liftshare launched a brand new comedy award for the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. We’ve invited comedians, poets, and variety acts from the festival to tell us their views about green and sustainability issues, or do something funny to get people thinking about environmental matters.

Daphna Baram is our latest entry, and she explains how she’s contributed to a greener society by emigrating to the UK! You can catch her stand-up and spoken word show at Just The Tonic at the Caves – and best of all? Tickets are free! Book some freebies by clicking here to visit the Edinburgh Fringe site.

Daphna also works as a freelance journalist and writer, and she lives in London – so she’s travelling up to Edinburgh especially for the Festival Fringe! She’s been involved in 6 Ed Fringe shows previously and has run and MC’d numerous comedy clubs all across the country.

Be sure to give Daphna a follow on Twitter at @MissDComedy, and let her know what you think of her entry!
