Liftshare urges heads of business to take urgent action against climate change

In the past month, it’s been impossible to ignore the voice of Greta Thunberg and Extinction Rebellion.

Our planet is at crisis point. Biologists claim that we could already be in a period of extinction. Only the SIXTH in the last 540 MILLION years.

Action needs to be taken now to ensure that carbon neutrality can be achieved by 2050.

Extinction Rebellion warns that ‘Our house is on fire’. The fact is, since the late 19^th century, the Earth’s average surface temperature has risen by 1.1 degrees Celsius. Shockingly, 50% of carbon emission created by humans burning fossil fuels has happened in the last 25 years.
