Liverpool Sound City 2014 is not just about music

Liverpool Sound City, the largest metropolitan music festival in the UK, returns for its 7th year, from 1st to the 3rd May. Sound City takes place in the heart of the city, using venues and pop up stages around the centre, and each year welcomes over 360 artists across a number of genre’s and nationalities, with over 9,000 music fans visiting per day.

Beyond music, the Liverpool Sound City conference, which takes places at the Hilton Hotel, brings impressive speakers this season, such us the legendary John Cale from The Velvet Underground or FIFA presidential candidate Jerome Champagne. This year’s themes are business of music, football and style and cornerstones of the city’s identity.

How do I get there?

Liverpool City Region is well-connected to the UK motorway network. From the M6 take the M62, M58 or M56 direct to the destination.
